How To Reform Religion Ck2

admin
Roman Empire borders. Duchies highlighted in yellow are required for the restoration.

The Roman Empire is a titularEmpiretitle.

A pagan start that allows to make a kingdom and to reform faith in the shortest time, preferably, before the first succession and loss of titles. Charlemagne starts I tried so far seem to be financially starved, since it takes forever to get the basic naval tech and start raiding proper. A gift of fire chapter 2 summary. However, many players sought to find a better, closer to truth, representation of these real world beliefs. This mod attempts to do this by giving unique features and heads-of-religion to religions classified as heresies in CK2, as well as ability to 'reform' them into major players on the European scale.

With Legacy of Romeexpansion, it is possible, as Emperor of the Byzantine Empire, to restore the Roman Empire by controlling key duchies of the old empire. The Byzantine Empire must also be your primary title. Restoring Rome has the following effects:

  • The ruler will receive the nickname 'the Glorious'.
  • Roman emperors are automatically given the Augustus trait, which grants +10 vassal opinion and +0.5 monthly prestige. This can stack with the +5 opinion modifier from being Born in the purple , and the +10 opinion modifier from rapidly accumulating 2000 prestige.
  • With Holy Fury: If no historical Byzantine bloodline is active, ruler gets a Roman restorer bloodline with bonus culture conversion for Roman culture.
  • Any duchy considered rightfully part of the Roman Empire can be attacked using the 'Imperial Reconquest' CB (Muslims cannot be attacked using this CB; you'll have to risk holy war).
  • The de jurecapital moves from Constantinople to Rome.

With Holy Fury, Christian emperors of Greek, Italian, Sardinian, or Roman culture have the option to restore the old Imperial religion Hellenism through a series of events.
